Bill Ashton | Amgen Pharmaceuticals (retired) Vice President of Commercial Affairs
As part of Mr. Ashton's sixteen-year career with Amgen, he grew Amgen's
neophyte sales force to one of the pharmaceutical world's most successful.
After joining Amgen as one of its first sales and marketing staff members,
Mr. Ashton moved on to be Vice President of Sales and then Vice President/
General Manager of Corporate Accounts. He also served as liaison to the
Department of Health and Human Services, patient and provider groups,
and health trade associations, and played a lead role in establishing Amgen's
Global Government Affairs group, which keeps tabs on the changing
worldwide healthcare environment. Mr. Ashton retired in 2005 and currently
resides in Philadelphia.
